The speculations about the possibility of a love triangle brewing in Episode 17 of "Blue Bloods" Season 7 started when Will Estes, who plays the role of Jamie, posted on his Instagram account. The caption used in the post immediately triggered comments from the online users, who started putting across theories of an impending love triangle between him, Sarah Mezzanotte, and Eddie (Vanessa Ray).

However, some reports also suggested that the character of Mezzanotte in "Blue Bloods" Season 7 is only a guest star. So fans of Jamie and Eddie should not feel worried about the duo's fate.
