The stars of "Game of Thrones" Season, Sophie Turner and mother of dragons, Emilia Clarke, shared their thoughts on feminism. The two stars wrote an excellent essay about it online 

A recent report from Hindustan Times said that the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 stars, Emilia Clarke and Sophie Turner shared their opinion on feminism on Mar. 8, International Women's Day. The stars who play Daenerys Targaryen and Sansa Stark, respectively, stated that they are interested in becoming women's right advocates because of their roles on the HBO series.

“It was a recognised matter of fact that I, as a woman, was no different to my brother," Emilia Clarke said in a statement. "Just as my mum was no different from my father in their careers, therefore I was raised in an equal earning, equally managed household that showed me anything a man could do, a woman could and should do too."

The "Me Before You" actress also unveiled that being on "Game of Thrones" opened her mind about the issues of inequality. Fortunately, the show has given her a platform and helped her understand why women should stand up for inequality and hatred.

Per TV Guide, Clarke stated that she does not get treated equally at work all the time, but she is just like other women. She admitted that men and women had been asking her about her nude scenes in "GOT." Yet, she knows there is no need to justify herself.

Sophie Turner And Women For Women

Meanwhile, Turner works with Women for Women International because the organization helps women who were violated, raped, and even those who were affected by war. Her rape scene on "GOT" made her realize that many people think these violations against women were just a taboo topic, even if sexual violence happens in real life.

Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke star in the hit HBO TV series, "Game of Thrones" Season 7, which is expected to premiere in July 2017.
