But a report from Tapatalk has cleared this news item and said that this was not based from facts. Though the life-size doll gift was reportedly just a hoax, the Mariah Carey Bryan Tanaka relationship is still getting stronger, following the singer's confirmation that she is in a relationship. On Valentine's Day, Mariah Carey posted a photo of her with 33-year-old Bryan Tanaka in a bath tub while drinking champagne.

An interview with The Associated Press came, where she said that she does not want to talk about the reports on Mariah Carey Bryan Tanaka dating, Daily Mail said in a report. 

'I'm just going to be like "I really don't talk about my personal life," she said. "Because that's what I used to do and it really worked for a minute, back, a while ago." she added. "I just don't feel comfortable talking about my personal life. ... Me and my boyfriend don't want to do that."

Bryan Tanaka is Mariah Carey's choreographer. He is in charge of the dance routines of the singer for her performances around the world. Reports said he and Mariah Carey began their closeness when the singer was having rough times with her previous relationship.
