Various reports have been coming out about the latest anticipated gadget from Apple. The new iPhone 8 is expected to have a new and different design with edge to edge display.

iPhone 8 Reports And Expected Specs

It is reported that Apple is looking to bring something unique and brilliant with the release of the iPhone 8. Apple is thinking of completely removing the home button, so it may not be present in the next release. Reportedly, the display of the phone will be a home to Touch ID fingerprint Sensor and also a selfie Shooter.

Furthermore, the size of the display screen is not yet confirmed, but most reports suggested that it will have a 5.5-inch display, or a bit higher than this. The technology behind the screen will be flexible OLED, instead of LCD. Flexible OLED is perfect to give users the permanent display of colors and contrast ratio.

As usual, it will have a non-removable Lion battery. The rear camera of the iPhone is supposed to be at 16MP, while the front camera/selfie camera will be at 8MP. The memory of the iPhone will vary (32/64/128/256GB) with a RAM of 4GB. It will run on iOS 12, which will be upgradable to the new iOS 12.3.2 and it will also have the 4K display.

iPhone 8 To Have Wireless Charging?

Meanwhile, Apple is allegedly planning to incorporate wireless charging in the iPhone 8. They are looking to enhance wireless charging and are more focused on long range wireless charging technology, which will be way better than what is currently offered in the market.

However, it might prove to be a challenge to Apple, since more power is required to cater for long distance wireless charging, according to CNETApple has taken the necessary measures and is working on providing a wireless charging system that will be ideal, unique, and favorable to the user.

On the other hand, there is no clarity yet as to what the upcoming iPhone will be called. It may be called the iPhone Edition, according to BGR.
