NBA 2017 Latest News & Update: Dwyane Wade Open To Anything After Current Season With Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls are busy rebuilding and the obvious course is getting in young players. Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott were dealt at the NBA trade deadline to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Cameron Payne, Joffrey Lauvergne and Anthony Morrow. From the looks of it, more moves are expected by the Summer.

With the emphasis on youth, it brings up the curious case of Dwyane Wade. The 35-year-old guard is unbothered by the Bulls front office moves but prefers to just go out and play than speculate. So far, he has been on track, getting the ample amount of rest from the recently concluded NBA All-Star break and wowing for Chicago. That included a highlight reel against the Phoenix Suns, turning back the clock with scintillating dunks, Fox Sports reported.

Dwyane Wade admits that playing alongside younger players is a bit odd, particularly when he ponders the future. At some point, the all-star guard will hang it all up and that could be happen in the next couple of years. The notion alone is something Gar Forman and John Paxson are aware of, calling to mind Wade’s eventual move after this season.

He has the option to return for the Bulls and pick up the $24 million though he is noncommittal for now, ESPN reported. Dwyane Wade prefers to cross the bridge when he gets there based on the ESPN interview. Rightfully so, it does seem a bit premature to ponder his future with the Bulls trying to make the best out of their current campaign.

“The Flash” just wants to go out and play and leave the little things hanging until it is time for him to move on or retire. With the way he is playing right now, Dwyane Wade could squeeze in a couple of more years – which seems to be a no-brainer since he still has the hops.
