In a report posted by The Sixth Axis, according to Nintendo, the fundamental intent of the "Final Fantasy XIV" development unit is to deliver the game on as multiple platforms as probable. The central interference in this goal is that the unit does not aspire to construct a so-called boxed-off version of "Final Fantasy XIV" just to be capable of bringing it to another console that will not permit players to socialize with players on other consoles.
