NBA Trade 2017: Damian Lillard Could Be Made Available For Trade

It may be only a speculation but if it does come true, there can be both pros and cons, associated with the trading of this superstar, NJ.com reported. With the NBA trade deadline for 2017 about to come to a close soon, some of the most well-known names have hit the news.

AmicoHoops.net reported the Portland Trail Blazers are all set to accept offers for Lillard, their superstar point guard. Amico further added on the player that the Blazers are "taking calls and willing listeners." The point guard currently has an average of 4.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 25.7 points for the Trail Blazers this season. The team had a dismissal performance as they ranked 10th in the Western Conference.

NBA Trade 2017: Alternatives Before Portland Trail Blazers

Meanwhile, Sports World News noted that it was the powerful duo of CJ McCullum and Lillard, who had clinched several victories for the Blazers in this season. In fact, the heavy lifting was often taken care by Lillard.

Looking at the current scenario, it appears that Blazers will only consider players like Paul George and Carmelo Anthony for a Lillard trade to take place. Though Brook Lopes is available right now, it is unlikely the Blazers will go for another big name at this point.

There are hardly few more hours remaining for the NBA trade 2017 deadline to end and fans could see some exciting trades happening at the last moment. As of now, it appears that the Blazers are still contemplating whether to go ahead with the Lillard trade or not.
