One of the most-anticipated movies of this decade, “Toy Story 4” is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 21, 2019. However, the official release date was previously pushed backward multiple times, but the recent release of new plot angle seems to be mild solace to the fans.

Earlier, it was revealed that the much-awaited film “Toy Story 4” would attract viewers by focusing on the relationship between Bo Peep and Woody. Fans might remember that Woody and Bo Peep kissed each other in “Toy Story 2” but the relationship did not grow between them in a much expected way.

Moreover, according to “Toy Story 4’” director John Lasseter, the sequel will give vibrant scenes about the new life of Woody, Bo Peep, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, and the others. The story will depict how Woody and Buzz Lightyear overcame the hurdles on their way to find Woody’s romantic interest, Bo Peep.

Lasseter is quite excited for the new ideas implemented in the story of upcoming “Toy Story 4”. He admitted previously that he would execute an excellent idea in the fourth sequel with the writers team included Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich and Pete Docter. Rashida Jones, the daughter of Quincy Jones “Q” and her writing partner McCormack worked together with the team.

“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us. "Toy Story 3" ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time.” said Lasseter in his interview (via Variety). However, Jim Morris confirmed in an interview with Disney Latinos that “Toy Story 4” is not a continuation of "Toy Story 3". The upcoming sequel will depict a new journey.

Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” will feature almost all the characters back in their original role and new characters will introduce to make the story interesting. Patricia Arquette will voice a new character (still to be announced), as reported by Slashfilm

According to the report of Variety, the premiere date of "Toy Story 4" was delayed three times. Presently, it is set to hit theaters on June 21, 2019.
