“Tekken 7”: how did its evolution happen?

“Tekken 7” was initially sighted in Asian and Japanese arcades in March 2015. According to IGN, the game was first tested for over a year by several of the world’s top class players. Constant changes and numerous tweaks resulted from this process, as the game witnessed a significant update in July last year.

The updated version introduced plenty of new features such a few new characters (including Street Fighter’s Akuma Fighers’ Akuma), new mechanics like Rage Drive and much developed new stages. Now the game is ready to be launched on various platforms like PlayStation (or PS4), Xbox One, and PC.

The publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has a different plan to accomplish a season pass for “Tekken 7”. The plan includes more than a year of post-release development. The producer of the “Tekken” series, Katsuhiro Harada believes that this season pass will help accomplish free updates and support for a long time, as reported by Niche Gamer.

“Tekken 7” plot will be much darker

The upcoming “Tekken 7” video game’s developer, Harada opined that the story would be much darker than any other previous versions. It is expected to be nearer in tone to the fourth installment in the “Tekken” series. Apart from this, the story of “Tekken 7” will conclude the Mishima clan saga. Hence, the game is expected to be one of the best video games of this decade.
