'Steep' News & Update: Delayed 'Alaska' DLC Arriving February 24, Features New Ski Zones

After quite a long wait, "Steep" is finally receiving the delayed "Alaska" DLC that was promised to arrive on February 10. Ubisoft previously explained that the first ever free DLC for "Steep" was slated to arrive on February 10, but the studio has decided to delay it for unknown reasons.

Ubisoft took to their blog to explain that the delayed "Alaska" DLC arriving February 24 for "Steep" was postponed because they wanted to "[bring] the best experience possible to all players." Note that the "Alaska" update will arrive to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next week. According to GameSpot, there are several fun stuff to look forward to in the delayed "Alaska" DLC arriving February 24 for "Steep."

First of all, it features new ski zones that gamers can explore via a wingsuit. There is also a base game that takes place in the Alps mountains. Previously, Game Rant reported that there will be several play styles to look forward to in "Alaska." There will be ski/snow, wingsuit, and paragliding sports, and explorer, freerider, freestyler, bone collector, extreme rider, and pro rider type of playstyles.

In addition, the delayed "Alaska" DLC arriving February 24 for "Steep" will also feature four points of interests, namely the mount, peak, crest/spur, and constructions, based on a released image from Ubisoft. "Steep" is currently playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch after the new console is released.
