The Magic Leap Company has satisfied its investors and tech visionaries by its demonstrations. CEO Rony Abrobitz is known to be fond of giving demonstrations to celebrities. Recently, Beyonce had the Magic Leap experience.

The demos are compelling, employees assure. One of the demos given by the Magic Leap is "Star Wars" themed, where the user is placed on Hoth, the ice planet, among giant AT-AT robots.

What is Magic Leap?

According to Business Insider, Magic Leap is one of the companies creating mixed-reality technology or MR. In the past year, executives from most of the major media and tech companies wanted to experience the MR first-hand so they went to Florida to see it themselves.

According to The Verge, Other former employees describe a culture that caters to VIPs. They said Magic Leap would clear out its office in Florida for some time, to give demos to celebrities and investors. Some who saw the device liked it, even Steven Spielberg wants to use Magic Leap tech for AR movie.

However, this seemed a little different to Beyonce. According to former employees, the singer-actress was one of the celebrities who received a personalized Magic Leap demo and does not seem to like it, and was "bored" by it. This occurrence served to the company's purpose and was more of a reflection of Abovitz' desire to connect with celebrities than anything directly related to the company's business.

The company might seem excellent its new so-called cinematic reality, it was also reported to have some problems miniaturizing its technology. Although, reports say that its headset demo is "in decent shape".

Former employees also said that Magic Leap is targeting 1000 to 2000 dollars for a final product, which is less than the competing Microsoft HoloLens development Kit. Going back to Beyonce's statement, could it mean that she saw the product still in developing stage, or she's just too busy dealing with the stuff concerning advanced technologies? The AR executive, however, thinks that the device should be seen publicly.

Have you tried Magic Leap? Do you agree with Beyonce?
