"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is really, really good. The upcoming Marvel flick set for a May release recently earned a rare 100 rating in a test screening by Marvel insiders. You read that right, some lucky souls have actually seen the film already ahead of its release date.

What's even more interesting is that the James Gunn film earned a rare 100 rating in test screening. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" has earned an even higher score than crowd-pleasers "Iron Man 3" and "The Avengers." If this is any indication, its that the film has indeed connected with the audience in a way that other films may have not.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the sequel to the 2014 hit movie helmed by James Gunn and starred in by what Screen Junkies called the "Space Avengers." That would be Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and the voices of Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot. All five stars are returning in the sequel, as well as Karen Gillan as Nebula, who is switching sides to be one of the Guardians as well.

Speaking of Nebula, Kevin Fiege told Mashable that she will have a bigger role in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and will even appear in the film early on. While she finds herself in a vengeful mood following the events of the 2014, Nebula will be in fact taken by the Guardians after she finds herself captured by a group called the Sovereign.

Gillan said that Nebula's default mood is "pissed off," which fans will get to see in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." The highly anticipated James Gunn film earned a rare 100 rating in test screening, and if that's any indication, it will be another hit come May. The film hits theaters across the nation on May 5.
