Ahead of the release of the newest content for "Rainbow Six Siege" titled "Velvet Shell," Ubisoft released a new trailer showcasing the features of the highly anticipated Year 2 drop. "Velvet Shell" is arriving today between 9 and 10 a.m. for PlayStation 4, 10 and 11 a.m. for Xbox One, and 11 a.m. to 12 noon EST for PC. The studio also released the patch notes, and "Velvet Shell" features Coastline map, new Operators, and revamped menus.

According to VG247, Ubisoft took to the Six Invitational to share more details about the upcoming "Velvet Shell" DLC for "Rainbow Six Siege." The content arriving today features Coastline map, new Operators and revamped menus, which gamers can look forward to. There are two new operators in the form of Jackal, an Attacker, and Mira, a Defender. Both of which were already introduced in the past few days.

As "Velvet Shell" patch notes released, gamers discover that the new content features Coastline map, which will come free for all players. This new map features the new "Two-Layer Descruction" system, which will be available in future maps moving forward. Gamers should know that Jackal has the ability to see enemy footprints, while Mira is skilled with creating bulletproof, one-way windows in walls.

"Rainbow Six Siege" gamers will also find that "Velvet Shell" features revamped menus, new customization items, and four new Signature weapon skins in the form of Crossfader, Chupinazo, El Dorado and Leon Furioso. These are all Spanish culture-inspired designs, as with Mira and Jackal, who have Spanish roots as well. As per GameSpot, players can also get their hands on new Elite sets that feature a set for Rook.
