Speculations continue to arise that new characters will be part of the upcoming "Attack on Titan" season 2. Have the creators confirmed the news about the new characters, songs and premiere date of the new series?

A report from Comicbook.com confirms that the hype for the upcoming "Attack on Titan" season 2 is beginning to accelarate. The report also confirms that the anime's key characters will get their own songs and CD. Pony Canyon is reportedly making the show's fans prepare for its comeback.

As of now, the song and CD details are kept mum, but the release dates were revealed. The publication shared that the songs might be sung by its character's voice over actor. The CD will allegedly contain a monologue track, while the art cover for it is still unreleased.

Volume 1 - Eren Yeager (Kaji Yuuki) will be released on March 15th, 2017
Volume 2 - Mikasa Ackerman (Ishikawa Yui) will be released on March 15th, 2017
Volume 3 - Armin Arlert (Inoue Marina) will be released on April 26th, 2017
Volume 4 - Jean Kirschtein (Taniyama Kishou) will be released on April 26th, 2017
Volume 5 - Bertholt Hoover (Hashizume Tomohisa) will be released on May 24th, 2017
Volume 6 - Levi (Kamiya Hiroshi) will be released on June 21st, 2017
Volume 7 - Erwin Smith (Ono Daisuke) will be released on June 21st, 2017

Meanwhile, GameSpot stated that the anime has become famous after its season 1 ending on 2013. Several video games and spinoff of the hit TV show had been sold. The show's season 1 is currently available for streaming on Funimation, Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu.

Attack on Titan follows the story of a boy named Eren Yeager who is living in an alternative world after humanity had been wiped out. He lives in a world ran by huge and powerful creatures called Titans.

The hit anime TV series, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will be premiering on April 1, 2017.
