The "Fireproof" star explained that Netflix usually doesn't tell them when the show will be released, but she expects it to be out "sometime in the summer." The previous seasons of the show underwent an identified period, but this might be a proof that the new installment will tackle the major cliffhanger happened in the fourth season finale.

Daniel Brooks' statement quite breaks the show's tradition for not revealing its timeline to keep the characters' sentence a secret. Moreover, she also told The Hollywood Reporter that "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 will be about the war for her character. She went on to say that Taystee already loses everything she has, thus she's not afraid to fight even if it is dangerous. The show's viewers are used to see Taystee as someone who is full of love and joy. However, she started to change when her mother died without any reason and witnessing the death of her closest friend without any justice. This all will be addressed in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5.
