Following all the political backlash on the current American President and the recently held Women's March, more and more people are speaking out in support of women across the nation and world. In the gaming scene, it seems that "Death Stranding" creator Hideo Kojima has subtly hinted how he might be a feminist and this is why. In talking about his upcoming game, he spoke out on how women are portrayed in his work.

A report from VG247 indicates how Hideo Kojima might be feminist following a conversation with BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat. While there, he talked about "Death Stranding" and how he represents women in his games. He shared that he wanted to avoid the cliche of having "characters with big breasts with no back story." He went on to say that if players do come across some characters, he's going to make sure that they have a back story to go with their physical appearance.

According to GameSpot, the "Death Stranding" creator also admitted to being unafraid of taking risk and losing supporters because of those risks. He shared that even if his upcoming work may lose fans, he is sure that it may attract new ones. His take on female characters is fairly interesting and implies that Hideo Kojima might be a feminist.

Back in September, IGN reported that "Death Stranding" will feature a female protagonist alongside Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro, both of which have made appearances in the trailer. It seems that with this in mind, the game designer is looking to create characters beyond their physical appearance and this is why Hideo Kojima may be a feminist.
