‘Bosch’ Season 3 Has New Showrunner; Amazon’s VP Announced 4th Season Renewal, Teases More To Come

On its return, "Bosch" Season will have a new showrunner with "Alcatraz" Daniel Pyne. The 61-year-old film director is now promoted for being the popular Amazon television series executive producer replacing Eric Overmyer's duties.

Eric Overmyer left the production of "Bosch" Season 3 to be the showrunner of another Amazon television series, "The Man in the High Castle." However, he will still remain as the streaming series' executive producer. Daniel Pyne will be joined by his frequent partner from "House of Cards" John Mankiewicz, according to Deadline.

Moreover, "Bosch" Season 3 is now in production for its imminent return on the small screen this 2017. In fact, it is now renewed to have its fourth season as announced by the Amazon Studios VP Roy Price. In a statement, the 49-year-old head said that they are happy to announce the coming of Amazon Prime Video's longest running original drama series' new chapter.

He is even proud that Prime members have loved following Detective Harry Bosch story as the lead star travels through tricky circumstances from his personal to professional lives. Roy Price even teased that there is more to come after "Bosch" Season 3, TVLine reported. The show is based on the best-selling Michael Connelly novel series "Harry Bosch." The 60-year-old author, on the other hand, said that they have been working so hard to deliver "the most realistic detective show possible."

He even boasted that their way of giving what fans want to see resonates with their viewers. Titus Welliver, who plays the titular character of the L.A.-based crime solver Harry Bosch, and the rest of the cast and crew have all put their hearts and souls to perfectly film the show. In fact, Michael Connelly assured that they are "raising the storytelling bar" in "Bosch" Season 3 and will do better in the next installment.
