Everyone has been waiting for the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 air date announcement for a long time, but it looks like the truth has been leaked by an unexpectedly reliable source. The HBO series will indeed premiere in summer, almost two full months later than the show's usual air date.

"Game of Thrones" has always premiered in April, which suited fans just fine especially since the series would be done by summer. The third season even aired much earlier than the others, debuting in March. Unfortunately, the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 air date is already expected to be much later than its predecessors, as it will begin in the end of June.

It's no secret that the seventh season will be pushed back to the middle of 2017 since production started much later than usual. People have already speculated that the new season will premiere in late May or early June, but IMDb has revealed that the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be on June 25. However, it is still best to take the information with a grain of salt until HBO makes a formal announcement.

The wait for the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 air date has resulted in several theories and speculations about what will happen in the season finale. Maisie Williams has previously teased on the season's last episode, somehow confirming that Arya Stark will survive and make it to Season 8. But who will end up getting killed in the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 finale?

Some believe that the recently resurrected Benjen Stark might end up sacrificing himself to try and keep the White Walkers from crossing the Wall. In addition to that, the leak of the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 plot suggests one of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons will not survive and become a powerful addition to the White Walkers' growing army.
