Finally, the much-awaited release date of "House of Cards" Season 5 was unveiled on Twitter the same time of President Donald Trump's inauguration. It seems like Netflix intentionally revealed the political drama's teaser along with the new POTUS ceremony to make it just as timely.

The new trailer for "House of Cards" Season 5 will send chills down your spines featuring an upside-down flag of the United States of America while a group of kids are reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in the background. While Donald Trump is having his official blessing, the web television series revealed a waving flag in the wind on a cloudy day at the front of the U.S. Capitol. The almost 30-seconder clip has a caption that says they are the ones who will make the terror.

The said phrase is the same statement made by Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) in the previous season finale. The official Twitter page of Netflix, on the other hand, shared the "House of Cards" Season 5 teaser with a caption that it cannot probably give its comment. With that, some deem that the streaming service is making its political statement, The Verge reported.

The teaser's unveiling is believed to be intentional and it might be a good promotional stint for the show for getting the attention of the divided nation cause of Donald Trump's inauguration. "House of Cards" Season 5 will continue the story of the fictional U.S. President Frank Underwood, whose wife Claire (Robin Wright) will be his running mate in the next election. The past 2016 election might be used as a reference of the show's dirty world.

Meanwhile, "House of Cards" Season 5 is set to be released on May 30, 2017, as revealed by the show's trailer. Its previous four seasons have been all released in February and the new installment comes a little late than usual. Along with Robin Wright and Frank Underwood, its original cast will return like Michael Kelly as Doug Stamper, Paul Sparks as Thomas Yates and Neve Campbell's political consultant LeAnn Harvey, The Independent cited.
