When the highly anticipated "Better Call Saul" season 3 hits the airwaves this April, it's bringing along a very familiar face. The AMC show is welcoming back "Breaking Bad" star Giancarlo Esposito, who is returning to reprise his role as Gus. The good news is that the third season of the show premieres on April 10.

According to TVLine, Esposito's Gus Fring will be joining "Better Call Saul" season 3. Fans of the original "Breaking Bad" series would remember Gus as the Walter White's adversary, a role which earned Esposito an Emmy nomination back in 2012. Fans of the show would also remember that Esposito's Gus met his untimely death in Season 4, but since "Better Call Saul" is a prequel to the award-winning show, viewers will get to see more of his backstory before the events of "Breaking Bad."

But how did AMC confirm that Giancarlo Esposito returning to reprise role as Gus? The cast of "Better Call Saul" was on hand during the Television Critics Association winter press tour when they introduced Esposito in character. As Gus, he even went on to hand out boxes of Los Pollos Hermanos fried chicken to reporters -- what a wonderful way to re-introduce a familiar face to the show.

According to USA Today, Esposito's Gus in "Better Call Saul" season 3 won't be as antagonizing as he was in "Breaking Bad." The actor explained that in the AMC show, he is "a little more immature." "Better Call Saul" season 3 will also feature Jonathan Banks' Mike searching for a "mysterious adversary" who seems to have all eyes on him and his business.

Don't miss "Better Call Saul" season 3, which premieres April 10 on AMC. In the meantime, check out the video below.
