Great news for fans who cannot wait for the arrival of Ubisoft's "For Honor" on February 14. Ubisoft has announced that the closed beta launches January 26. They even went as far as launching a cinematic trailer for the closed beta announcement, which you can view below.

But first, fans should know that Ubisoft took to Twitter to hint at two new maps called Canyon and Cathedral, which gamers can find in the game. Here's everything you need to know about the Canyon and Cathedral maps.

First of all, the "For Honor" Cathedral map features ruined structures that formerly housed a place fo peace and worship. Influenced by the Knights, the Cathedrap map structures feature gorgeous architecture with tall pillars, majestic staircases, and large windows that let the light in. Beware, however, as the former place of worship and rituals is now a battleground for "For Honor" players. That's not everything you need to know about the Canyon and Cathedral maps, as there's more.

The "For Honor" Canyon map features natural landmarks that were created after the Cataclysm. It is home to the Vikings, and gamers will have to carefully traverse its tricky, untouched grounds. But that's not all you can find in "For Honor." Gamers will also encounter Citadel Gates, which are fortresses that divide the world's largest cities from the rest of the world. It features external barracks and archer positions and serves as a solid defense against enemies.

Fans and gamers of "For Honor" who cannot wait to explore the Canyon and Cathedral maps of the game should sign up for the closed beta launching January 26. It will run through 29. Note however, that there won't be any timed console exclusivity for the closed beta, as per Polygon. Check out the trailer below for more.
