'World Of Final Fantasy’ News & Update: Cuteness Of Square Enix Game Impresses Gamers, Gets Above Average Rating

"World Of Final Fantasy" is an epic mash-up of the franchise's early retro style and the current gen's modern 3D environment. In the game, players will follow twins Reynn and Lann, who are thrown into the world of Grymoire - a magical place where all the Final Fantasy monsters and characters live.

Although the concept for "World Of Final Fantasy" is not that new, what makes it interesting is the fact that both Reynn and Lann have lost their memories and have no idea how to get back home. It is up to the players to figure things out and channel their inner Final Fantasy character to put everything back on track.

The heroic brother-and-sister tag team of "World of Final Fantasy" have magical powers of their own. Reynn and Lann can change into Lilikin (A.K.A. adorkable chibi) mode. This itty-bitty guise allows them to access hard-to-reach passages and hop on tiny monsters for transportation.

In the "World Of Final Fantasy" game, players can recruit magical monsters from the Final Fantasy universe. Just like "Pokemon," gamers can catch all sorts of critters, called Mirages, in the game. They can capture Mirages by challenging them to battle. Once they've been weakened, players can befriend them and they'll join their RPG party. The "World Of Fantasy" game features Final Fantasy VII villain Sephiroth as an available summon attack.

The Square Enix game was rated by IGN as “Good” with a 7/10 score, noting that "World Of Final Fantasy" has got to be the cutest game that the rater ever played. Another site that rated the game was Polygon, and it gave the "World Of Final Fantasy" another solid 7/10. Although it didn't get a perfect or high enough score, 7 can still be considered as above average. "World Of Fantasy" is available on PS4 and PSVita.
