This year's CES convention is in full swing, with various tech companies showcasing the latest in innovation. One of those companies include tech giant Samsung, which releases the first ever gaming laptop arriving next month. It seems that the company is finally putting the horrors of the exploding smartphones behind them and putting the spotlight on their newest offering, the Notebook Odyssey.

According to The Verge, the Samsung Notebook Odyssey, which will be arriving next month with a 15.6-inch version, followed by a 17.3-inch version in April. It will be powered by the seventh-generation Intel Core i7 processors, with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 for the 15.6-inch version. As for the larger version, the graphics card to be used is still under wraps.

Gamers will appreciate the Samsung Notebook Odyssey's storage capacity of 256GB with additional 1TB hard drive for the 15-inch version, as well as the 64GB memory of the 15-inch model that's packed with 32GB space. For those looking to purchase the 15-inch version of the gaming laptop from Samsung, it will come wiht USB 3.0 and 2.0. Those who are eyeing the larger version should know that it's equipped with the USB-C with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.0.

The Samsung Notebook Odyssey 15-inch version also features a 0.3mm crater keycaps as well as backlight. The 17-inch version has 0.5mm volcano keycaps with customizable RGB backlighting. According to PC Mag, the Samsung Notebook Odyssey will have a price tag of $1,199. The company is also looking to release the first ever gaming laptop in white, a refreshing take on the usual black gaming laptops currently in the market.

Gamers are expected to enjoy the functionalities of the Samsung Notebook Odyssey, which also features a removable panel for additional storage.
