‘Fargo’ Season 3 News & Update: Cast, Roles, Storyline & Everything You Need To Know

Since 2017 has come, a lot of television series is about to start. One of those is the upcoming "Fargo" Season 3 that is said to have the most star-studded chapter so far. Meet the new stars and their roles in the much-awaited comedy-crime drama anthology.

"Fargo" Season 3 will have the likes of Ewan McGregor playing the roles of the twin brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy. Emmit is a Parking Lot King of Minnesota while Ray has the unfortunate life. The two would have a sibling rival that will begin in stealing and will lead to fight and murder. Another big name that will be seen on the show is David Thewlis as V.M. Vargas, an enigmatic loner who is known for being a true capitalist.

Scoot McNairy will also appear in "Fargo" Season 3 as Maurice LeFay, a stoner with a scandalous past. Moreover, Shea Whigham will be playing as Meeker County chief of police named Moe Dammick along with Carrie Coon as Gloria Burgle, a newly divorced mother who is also a chief of a local police department, Variety reported. Karan Soni will be playing the role of the scientist Dr. Holmer Gilruth.

Furthermore, Jim Gaffigan will be seen in "Fargo" Season 3 as Donny Mashman while Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be playing as Nikki Swango, Ray's girlfriend. Other stars coming in the show are Michael Stuhlbarg as Sy Feltz, the right-hand of Emmit and his crime adviser. Fred Melamed is also on board as Howard Zimmerman, the mover and shaker that wants to earn a lot of profit while Thomas Mann will play as the award-winning author.

Meanwhile, "Fargo" Season 3's storyline will have a connection to its two previous chapters. However, it is not yet announced if there would recurring stars and familiar faces to be seen, Movie Pilot cited. The show is expected to be released in 2017 on FX.
