In the return of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, fans won't get to see Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) after her character's exit. Instead, the spot she left will be replaced by Janina Gavankar as Diana.

A number of new faces and characters are about to come in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 after the exit of Beharie. With that, the show is about to reveal a new version featuring some kind of a rearranging, according to CinemaBlend. In the coming "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) has now adapted living in the modern day.

However, as new characters are about to come, these freshmen are new to the supernatural creatures and demons the protagonist and his pals are facing since the show starts. One of the rearranges fans are about to see in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 is its move to Washington D.C. from New York State on its first few episodes. This, too, comes with a number of new faces along with the addition of Ichabod's new partner in crime, Diana that the appearance of Gavankar comes after Beharie unexpectedly leaves the show, Yahoo TV reported.

In fact, her exit caused the program a lot of criticism from its fans. Hence, Gavankar's stint in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 makes her afraid that fans of the show might hate her. "But someone had to take the job, and I was so honored that [they] called me in the first place," she said; reiterating that she would not decline the offer.

Gavankar is going to play the role of Diana, an ex-Marine that turned into a Homeland Security agent. Her path will lead to Ichabod because of some weird happenings and although she can't believe the supernatural events, she will find herself working with him. "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 showrunner Clifton Campbell is now excited for fans to see Gavankar taking the place of Beharie.
