'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Two DLC Packs To Be Released On December 20, Includes Cabba and Frost In Super Saiyan Final Form?
On November 21, 2016, Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. (BNEI) revealed that the first "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC package will be released on December 20.
The video game publisher released a trailer for the new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" showcasing the updates and the inclusion of the first DLC package to be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The short clip featured the free update of Son Goku's Kaioken and Hit's growth ability, among others, and learning new skills from new masters. The new masters include Android 16, Bardock, a Future Gohan, Whis and Cooler in a School Quest. Character customization is also a new feature to watch out for.
The second DLC of the package but with additional quests where players have the privilege to learn new skills from Hit as a master. Players can also get more attacks and costumes. In the short clip, Cabba and Frost become new playable characters, with the former slated to transform into a Super Saiyan as stated by Dualshockers.
According to iTech Post, there are rumors that the second DLC pack will be released in January 2017 where there will be additional characters and skills. Additionally, Valdos is expected to enter the scene, although his character's inclusion is not yet certain.
The trailer also features the Frieza Seige Event, an upcoming event which will take place in Conton City where players will have to defeat Frieza's pawns. Successfully conquering the minions will mean a reward of 10 exclusive Jersey costumes.
In the game, 300 players either fight against or with one another. The Yamcha Raid Boss is a definite battle where Evil Yamcha has to be fought and defeated to "win a very special title."
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was released on October 25 for PS4 and Xbox One and on October 27 for PC. Bandai Namco is yet to announce the official release date for the second DLC.
