'Clash Royale' Update: Crown Duel Challenge, 4 New Cards Unveiled To be Added Next Year [VIDEO]

Update Date: Dec 16, 2016 07:13 AM EST

Supercell reveals that The Crown Duel Challenge is now available at "Clash Royale" and will start on Dec. 16, 3 a.m. EST. In addition, four new cards including Dart Goblin, Goblin Gang, Battle Ram and Executioner Cards are added.

The rivals and powers of the card added, Gamenguide revealed, beginning with Dart Goblin which runs fast and shoots far despite having a mouth full of gum. The card is a troop type rare card which has 216 hitpoints, 93 damage with a range of 6.5 where it can inflict 132 points per second, 0.7 hit speed which is considered very fast and a deploy time of one second. It targets both air and ground in "Clash Royale."

Next comes the Goblin Gang which spawns three knife-holding goblins and another 3 with spears. It's a common troop type card with one second deploy time. But, notes be taken, this common card could deal up to 1,200 damage to the Tower. It should not be taken for granted.

Another rare type troop card that has two Barbarians holding a big log that can hit the building with quite a damage is the Battle Ram. The two warriors then go to the town with their swords. With level nine Barbarian, the card has 756 hitpoints, 246 damage to the building with a medium speed and deploy time of one second. Its range is melee.

An epic card comes last in the update. Executioner is the next new troop that throws axe like a boomerang. With 1010 hitpoints, area damage of 140 x 2 that targets both air and ground within a range of 5, unimaginable damage will be seen. In addition, it has 58 x 2 damage per second in 2.4 second hitspeed, one second deploy time.

Elite Barbarians such as Tornado, the Balloon, the Inferno Dragon, Lumberjack, Bomber, Mortar, Mirror, Giant Skeletons, and Wizards will get a huge buff, Toucharcade said. The update also include New Jungle Arena and New Crown Chest granting more epicness.

Dart Goblin will arrive on Jan. 13 next year with another card released every two weeks.
