Supermodel Heidi Klum Talks Openly On Being A Nudist And Dating The 30-Year-Old Vito Schnabel

Update Date: Nov 30, 2016 09:36 AM EST

Supermodel and mother to four kids, Heidi Klum,43, talked openly about being a nudist and dating the 30-year-old Vito Schnabel in an exclusive interview with Ocean Drive magazine. She graces the cover of the December issue of the magazine.

Klum has been photographed topless during her tropical getaways with her beau, Schnabel. Klum explains, "I grew up going to nude beaches, so I'm a nudist." She said that she has no problems with nudity at all and further added that when she goes to the beach and goes topless, it's in a very remote place where there are not a lot of people.

The Project Runway star said that it's the paparazzi that follow her everywhere that make her nudity and public display of affection (PDA) with her boyfriend, Schnabel, seem over the top. She said that she is not doing PDA on the beach where there are tons of people. In fact, she goes on a boat or takes a hike somewhere and one can see that upon zooming out in the places where she is with her boyfriend, that there's nobody there. Unfortunately, the paparazzi is always following them in a helicopter, or hanging behind a bush or a boat and coming up with scuba gear.

In August, Klum defended her topless vacations by explaining to ET on why she wasn't wearing a bikini during her Caribbean trip. She said that she's a European German girl and she likes going topless. She also shared that she doesn't love the tan lines.

Speaking on her 13-year age difference between her and her boyfriend, Schnabel, Klum said that their relationship has nothing to do with age. She expressed that the two share an amazing connection, have fun together and they love each other.
