The Apple iPhone 7 has reached to almost all parts of the world and the users are currently focusing on iPhone 8 which is considered as a worthy successor of iPhone 7.

It would be the 10th anniversary of iPhone launch by Apple in 2017. The company is fully prepared to make iPhone 8 series an epic. According to latest leaks onIBTimes, it seems that the iPhone 8 series will give a stiff challenge to the rivals.

The iPhone 8 series is to be launched in September 2017 and there shall be three screen sizes- 4.7 inches, 5.0 inches, and 5.5 inches. These devices will be equipped with A11 fusion series chipset which is efficient and powerful. Further, the iPhone 8 will have an OLED display and there shall be 3D touch sensor which shall be incorporated right into the OLED screen.

A newly started company Energous deals in wireless charging technology. Apple has joined hands with this company. Energous technology allows any device to get charged wirelessly from across a room. It can be your mobile phone as well.

According to rumors, Apple is indenting to incorporate the chips developed by Energous on the back of the iPhone 8. If this happens the phone will be enabled with a wireless charging up to 15 feet from the charging station.

The users do not need to leave their device to a power point whether at home or office. In fact, they can carry it around while it is continuously getting charged.

Apple will definitely set a benchmark in the mobile phone industry if the Energous wireless charging feature really happens for iPhone 8. Apple has done this in the past as well with the first generation of iPhones.

Officially no declaration has been made by either Apple or Energous in this regard. Energous simply stated that the company is currently working with a tire 1 Smartphone company and there are speculations that this company is none other than Apple.
