Apple iPad Mini 5 Is Expected To Hit The Market By March 2017

For those who were worried that the Apple iPad Mini 5 may not be released, here is a good news! The Apple iPad Mini 5 is still alive. Reports have suggested that the Apple iPad Mini 5 will hit the markets by March 2017. However, there has not been any official confirmation from Apple.

Analyst Ming Chi-Kuo has predicted that "Apple iPad Mini 5 is on its way and will release in 2017 as all Apple events for this year are over". Rumors also suggested that the iPad Mini 5 will have specs similar to Apple iPad Pro 2. A number of speculations have been in the air on the specs in iPad Mini 5.

Expected Features

The following specs are expected to be in Apple iPad Mini 5;

The 3.5 mm headphone jack would be removed and USB Type-C ports will serve the purpose of both charger and headphone jack. It is also expected to have a minimum of 2GB RAM and internal memory capacity ranging from 16 GB to 128 GB. The iPad Mini 5 may also be powered by the latest iOS 11 OS to be released next year by Apple. With 7000 series aluminum framework the Apple iPad mini 5 is expected to sport Apple's 3D Touch system, NFC and IP68 protection

Fan expectations from Apple iPad Mini 5

Fans expect that the Apple iPad Mini 5 will be upgraded in specs and performance from the previous iPad Mini with an A10 processor. However, the battery shall be similar to iPad Mini 4. Hence, the iPad Mini 5 is expected to be slimmer and thinner than the previous iPads. 

iPad Mini 5 could be the last in its line

Cynical analysts believe that even if Apple does release an iPad Mini 5, it would be the last of its line. Subsequently, the Mini line will be renamed and added to the Apple iPad Pro family .

Overenthusiastic fans believe that the Apple iPad Mini 5 will be completely different from its predecessor in terms of design as well as performance.
