'Blindspot' might be hitting a rough patch according to speculations abuzz on the upcoming Episode 8 of Season 2 of the series.

Episode 7 entitled 'Resolves Eleven Myths' featured Rich Dotcom who was detained from the last season. According to Entertainment Weekly, Dotcom asked help of FBI through Agent Weller's team because he is in need of protection. "Agent Weller lies in wait to take down a deadly assassin while a terrified Rich Dotcom cowers for a cover," said the Executive Producer, Alex Berger.

The said episode also showed Weller and Nas sleeping together, that could be a big blow to Jane and Weller's romance. "It's going to take some time for them to organically get back to the place they were, if that's even a possibility," said the showrunner Martin Gero in an interview with the Collider.

'Blindspot' Season 2 Episode 8 is expected to keep fans of the series on their toes, going by the synopsis of the episode shared on NBC's site. It states that Jane and Weller go missing while undercover and the rest of the team will now have to work together to find them. Part of this work will be interrogation of two criminals and an old nemesis is set to return as he yearns for a revenge against the team.

International Business Times shared their idea on who the abductors of the two agents may be. According to them, Sandstorm operatives could have something to do with their abduction since Sandstorm has been watching Weller closely for 20 years and he has heard Sheppard's voice.

Going by the trailer for 'Blindspot' Season 2 Season 8, Jane is expected to return back from abduction, while the rest of the gang carry on with their hunt for Weller. Jane says at the end of the trailer that they are going to need some real firepower, that could possibly be hinting to unexpected gun action and explosives in the coming episodes.
