OnePlus (OP) fans have something to cheer for before OnePlus 4 release next year. One Plus CEO has hinted their staff is working hard on something great and best to offer for its customers. Though there is no official communiqué; rumors are doing rounds that a new model is on the anvil.

Yes, it is believed to be called as OnePlus 3T, with minor improvement in specs and features over its immediate predecessor-OnePlus 3. The new smartphone is expected to be announced anytime soon to allow OP lovers to upgrade to the latest technology.

The upgrade on the specs is seen on the three key elements. It is understood that the Google Pixel processor-Snapdragon 821 is incorporated in OP3T. This gives a 10% improved performance and healthy battery life.

One Plus is known for giving best camera experience in the budget smartphone category. We are anticipating a change in camera lens from Sony IMX298 (used in OP3) to Sony's IMX398 sensor (used in OP3T).

Now, hear the most important upgrade in new OP3T. Unlike OP3, OP3T is believed to be coming out of the box with new Android OS-Nougat 7.0. Probably, it will be the only first phone to be shipped out with Android 7.0 outside Google family of smartphones.

The display would be would be 1080p AMOLED with better interface offering premium feel to the smartphone. All other specs like 6GB RAM and 3300 mAh battery are to remain same as OP3. Also, it unifies the smartphone with a sleek aluminum body with 16MP front and 8MP rear cameras.

While OP3 is priced at $399, OP3T is likely to hit the store at price point of $479.  With its dazzling specs and features, OP3T will challenge its rivals- Samsung Galaxy 7 and iPhone 7 on all fronts at 50 % discounted price.

OP3T will become the company's flagship product for the time being to pacify its fans in the interim before the release of its killer smartphone One Plus 4. Undoubtedly, OP4 is most awaited smartphone along with Galaxy with 8 and iPhone 8.
