‘Longmire’ Season 6 Air Date, Spoilers and Updates: Cancellation Plans NOT True

Update Date: Oct 05, 2016 10:22 AM EDT

Longmire Season 6 is about to go on season break and this worries their avid viewers everywhere. Fans are concerned that the show will no longer be renewed. Not to worry folks, because writer Craig Johnson and main man Robert Taylor said that a season 6 next year is 100 percent certain!

Chattsportsnet reported that Longmire season 6 storyline will pick up from last season's thrilling finale. Dr. Donna and sheriff Walt will be terrorized by an unknown assailant. This is perhaps the reason why fans speculated that the series has finally come to a close.

Not to worry because the upcoming season will continue the crime-busting adventures of country sheriff Walt Longmire, the fictional county of Absaroka in Wyoming. This American TV drama debut in 2012 and is based on a novel written by Craig Johnson entitled Walt Longmire Mysteries.

Netflix has given out details about the season 5 airing on September 2016. Discussions are also going on about a big plan to sustain Longmire season 6 on the air channels.

A Dose of Romance

Crime busting will get too boring if there's a little bit of romance on the side. The series will introduce a budding romance between the sheriff and deputy sheriff, Vic. This according to Screenrant.

Season 6 will deal with Vic's pregnancy along with her blossoming relationship. These are expected to add spice to the existing storyline to increase viewership and avoid the dangers of possible cancellation. Is this enough to keep Longmire in the ratings game then? We'll just have to wait and see.
