‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers: New Trailer Released; Air Date Still Unknown

The most-awaited comedy "Rick and Morty" would soon air its third season. However, the airdate of the upcoming season is still uncertain despite several released trailers.

As such, fans have been eagerly waiting for the release date for "Rick and Morty" or at least some news of it. Meanwhile, Mike McMahan, the writer of the show has hinted about season 3 being the best season till date, on Twitter.

Moreover, fans can also expect the upcoming season to have more episode compared to the previous seasons. It might have 14 episodes, which is certainly more than that of season one and two. Notably, both season one and two consisted of 10 episodes each.

Meanwhile, one of the showrunners of "Rick and Morty" Dan Harmon, mentioned earlier that they might be introducing "Fast and Furious" actor Vin Diesel for a character.

Season 3 has been speculated to bring in a new angle. The storyline is still elusive, but showrunners have been dropping a hint about Rick's ex - wife returning in the show. Additionally, Rick's granddaughter might also be seen in the upcoming season. She will be joining as Rick and Morty's assistant and might be part of their amazing adventures.

 Digital Trends also reported that the next episodes of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 would be darker and unpredictable.

As for the first episodes of the show, fans might be able to see Rick breaking out of the prison. As per a recent trailer, Rick can be seen breaking out of the prison in an insect body.

Thus, it seems that the upcoming season of "Rick and Morty" is definitely off to a great start. However, Adult Swim is yet to announce a release date. Rumors suggest that it might be scheduled for 2017, however, fans will have to stay tuned for the news to get recent updates.
