It seems Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has already fixed the release date for its much anticipated flagship dubbed "OnePlus 3." Recent reports suggest the OnePlus 3 will be launched next month, using the Loop VR.

 According to Android Authority, a OnePlus customer service representative revealed in a live chat that the OnePlus 3 launch event would happen on June 14. The publication listed a screenshot of the chat conversation for more credibility.

 The OnePlus representative also confirmed that though the launch event will be in VR, people will be able to watch it without a headset as well. The smartphone maker had previously confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 3 via a virtual reality event. The company will give away more than 30,000 units of its Loop VR headset, which was developed in collaboration with AntVR.

Popular tipster Evan Blass recently took to social networking website Twitter to share a screenshot from the OnePlus 3 running on OxygenOS v3.1.0 based on an Android N preview build, reported IBTimes.

According to the screenshot, the smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, and a 16-megapixel rear camera. The tipster also claimed that OnePlus will reintroduce Near Field Communication (NFC) in OnePlus 3.

Just this week, CEO Pete Lau posted a selfie taken from the OnePlus 3's front facing camera on Chinese social networking site Weibo. The resolution of the picture stands at 2448x3264p, which sums up to 8-megapixel, reported The Bitbag.

There are also rumors which suggest that OnePlus flagship will be launched in two variants. While, one will carry 16 GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM, the other will have a 64GB internal memory and a 4GB RAM.

Talking about the pricing details, it is rumored that the 32 GB and 64 GB models of the handset will sport a price tag of $310 and $385, respectively.
