Rumors about Samsung's next gen fitness tracker, Samsung Gear Fit 2, have been making rounds for quite some time now. New leaked images of Samsung Gear Fit 2 shows how the fitness band will look on the wrist from plenty of angles. The pictures were leaked via the Samsung's website by mistake, reported Phone Arena.

The pictures show at least three color variants of the fitness device with a couple of different "watch faces" showing fitness information such as the number of steps, the number of floors climbed,  and the estimated calorie consumption, according to Android Authority.

Rumor mills have it that the smartphone giant's upcoming wearable gadget will feature a host of new features that will make the fitness band stand out among its rivals, including the much awaited Apple Watch 2.

The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is rumored to boast a sleek design with a large and clear 1.84-inch curved AMOLED display which curves to fit the wrist comfortably. The upcoming wearable gadget will pack 4GB of built-in storage together with integrated GPS and multiple fitness features.

Gear Fit 2 is expected to come with embedded Samsung Bio-Processor that will collect and analyze a range of health data including heart rate and body fat with low power consumption.

If reports are to be believed, Samsung Gear Fit 2 might come with IP68 certification, which will make the device suitable for use even while swimming. The device, same like its predecessor, will enable users to dismiss calls and alarms with a simple tap or customize their own alerts from third-party apps.

While, the original Gear Fit weighed in at mere 27 grams, it remains to be seen if the Gear Fit 2 will have the same weight or be even lighter, reported Softpedia.

It is expected that Samsung will announce the Gear Fit 2 sometime next month.
