Even though it is not known when the next generation of Sony Console will be out, one thing is for sure that there will be a PlayStation 5 that will come in the next few years. With the expectations from the gaming industry at an all time high, PlayStation 5 will really have to be outstanding to stand up to its own standards. Analysts are still unsure whether it will be launched in 2018, 2019 or 2020. However, it is still possible to predict some of the features that new PS 5 will bring for its users, says Value Walk

The first thing to expect is obviously better game titles when PS 5 actually launches into the market. Since PS4 launch titles were not very exciting and could not much for its sales until at least a year after its release. PS 5 will obviously have to act faster and make games more interesting.

Another given for the new PlayStation 5 is 4K resolution technology which will become more commercial by the time the console released. So it is a fair expectation from Sony to deliver 4K gaming, right out of the box. Another thing to look out for is the PlayStation VR system which is expected to be a huge hit when it is launched this year. While it is hard to predict its success, the company can certainly integrate VR technology into PlayStation 5 from the first day the console hits the market.

Video gamers are very possessive about the disk drive and would most likely want to keep it, even though downloading games and streaming is gaining constant popularity. PlayStation 5 should retain the disc drive and perhaps could add a 4K disc player, reports Value Walk
