Will Apple break tradition to release the iPhone 7 before the appointed time in September? Recent reports suggest the company may want capitalize on users waiting for next year's device instead of upgrading to the iPhone 6S.

Sourcing information from a reliable source, Apple Insider reports that Apple is planning an early introduction of next year's iPhone into the market by completing its development cycle early. It is not known exactly when the new phones may release but it could be as early as next summer if release of past generation of phones before the iPhone 4 is any indication.

In the same report, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reportedly said Apple could begin production of iPhone 7 anywhere between July and September, which means the phones may not break tradition and could be introduced later than September.

Speculation about the release date notwithstanding, numerous reports have claimed Apple could introduce a bevel-less screen and do away with the home button. According to BGR however, Apple has ordered LCD driver chips from Synaptics for next year's phones not unlike those used by other device manufacturers, as Apple's own touch and display driver integration (TDDI) is behind schedule. TDDI is part of Apple's efforts to do remove the home button.

That said the iPhone 7 is likely to be unlike the iPhone 6S in appearance given that Apple is known to introduce new generation devices with design changes.
