She serves as the executive director of Excelsior Multi-Cultural Institute, a nonprofit organization which provides education, tutorial and literacy programs for children and adults. In addition, it offers mental health counseling and addiction treatment. In her position, Ms. Jackson oversees programs in mathematics, English and reading. She also manages schedules and curriculum.
As a graduate of New York University, Ms. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She was recognized with a Women in Public Dedication distinction by World Who's Who.
