Vaginal tears 

 These are common among sexually active women. Although these may not be serious but surely cause a discomfort because of the pain. Signs of vaginal tears include burning, irritation, discomfort and itching.

Main reason of vaginal tears is lack of lubrication. Experts advice to have foreplay before jumping into real action. Foreplay not only increases the quality of sexual experience but also prevents vaginal dryness.

Frenelum bleeding

This injury is often experienced by males who are having their intercourse for the first time.  A tight frenulum (the tissue that connects the penis with the foreskin) or tight foreskin is the reason behind it. During the aggressive intercourse, tightness leads to splitting. Experts advice men to check for tight foreskin. 

Urinary tract infections

Sex is one of the most common reasons for UTIs among women. This is because, during the intercourse, bacteria from the genital area and anus easily travel into urethra, bladder or kidney causing frequent and painful urination. Sometimes it is also followed by lower back pain and abdominal pain. Here, hygiene is the key.
