David Taylor, pastor and spiritual leader, heads Joshua Media Ministries International (JMMI) with a unique approach to preaching and spreading the gospel. Blessed with near indefatigable energy and a limitless sense of devotion, fueled by his deep-seated Christian convictions, David E. Taylor's community efforts and worldwide ministry have become a shining lodestar to a legion of faithful followers around the globe.

David E. Taylor, Pastor: A Life of Service to the Community

Today, David E. Taylor is recognized and highly revered for his commitment to bettering the world through his ministry and ongoing humanitarian efforts, both in his local community and wherever those in distress call out for help. In addition to Pastor Taylor's regularly scheduled prayer services - which are broadcast daily to a huge multinational audience of true believers who depend on him for guidance and inspiration - as a devoted Good Samaritan, Taylor has spearheaded numerous relief efforts across the United States in times of natural disaster.

When tragedy strikes, Pastor Taylor routinely deploys the tireless and loyal JMMI volunteer troops, dispatching the congregation's Convoy of Miracles 18-wheeler and airplane fleet packed to the rafters with vital supplies to help those directly impacted by hurricanes, tornadoes, and other catastrophic events. For example, when Hurricane Ian wreaked destruction along the southeastern coast of the U.S., Taylor heeded the call by sending both corporeal aid and spiritual support to suffering storm victims. When deadly tornadoes flattened Kentucky towns and left scores of anguished survivors homeless, again, Taylor answered their prayers by organizing volunteer efforts to distribute donated goods, tender urgent medical assistance, and deliver hands-on support to dig out and rebuild devastated communities.

David Taylor, Pastor: From a Perilous Beginning to a Living Instrument of the Lord

Was Pastor David E. Taylor always destined to do great things? The simple answer is yes, but there's more to the story. As influential a faith leader as he's become, Taylor rose from humble origins.

Taylor believes his journey from the darkness into the light of God's glory and beneficence, holds many valuable life lessons. The pastor shares his experiences freely in hopes that others might learn from his hard-won personal victories so they too may find salvation.

As Taylor can attest, coming to Jesus isn't always easy. The road to redemption is often paved with pitfalls designed to test our faith and temptations that may seem too good to pass up at first glance. While it might be hard to believe, David Taylor, pastor, was once David E. Taylor, gang member - until he experienced a life-altering epiphany that opened his eyes to the path of righteousness and his heart to the Word of God.

In 1989, 17-year-old Taylor was a streetwise kid, prowling his Memphis, Tennessee, neighborhood with nothing more on his mind than ducking trouble and pursuing worldly pleasures. Humanitarian pursuits and religious beliefs weren't even on his radar back then. But Taylor says Jesus Christ intervened - appearing to him in a dream that set him straight. (Those who wish to learn more about David E. Taylor's astonishing transformation will find it detailed in his best-selling book, Face to Face Appearances from Jesus: The Ultimate Intimacy.

Taylor is only too aware that, like so many other at-risk youths from marginalized and underserved communities, he could well have ended up enmeshed in a cycle of violence, drugs, and crime from which there was no escape save death - but by the grace of God, he was spared that hideous fate. This realization is central to one of the ministry's focuses: ensuring disadvantaged young people who might not otherwise have the chance are given an opportunity to lead productive, purpose-driven, successful lives.

After his powerful one-on-one conversion to Christ, David Taylor, pastor, found the oath he'd taken to a violent gang creed was no match for the sincere pledge he offered up to the all-powerful, loving God who forgives those mortals who truly repent their sins. Through his continued good works and community-focused leadership, Pastor Taylor, by word and deed, has been living his faith every day ever since.
