With the holiday season in full force, travel is back up and running bigger than ever before.

And it is likely that you will have some exciting trips planned this winter-whether that be by car, plane or train.

After months on months of not being able to see our friends or loved ones, it will feel darn good to walk through security and hop on a plane. We honestly never thought we'd see the day where we look forward to security, but hey, it takes losing something to make you truly appreciate it.

Travel is at the top of many of our minds. We've spent so long dreaming of it, and now it is finally here.

In fact, you will likely be joined with more people than pre-pandemic, meaning that you will want to be extra diligent and careful with how you travel.

So how can you travel comfortably this holiday season, with so much going on around you and so many other people that you need to navigate through-literally. We have come up with a plan for you to follow so that no matter the mode of transportation you choose to travel by, you can do so comfortably this holiday season. This way you will have more time for holiday cheer and less time for holiday stress.

Here is the ultimate guide of what you need and what to do when you travel this holiday season.

1. Enhance Your Circulation

When we travel, our body ends up staying stagnant for quite some time. This can ultimately lead to our circulation in our body declining, which can cause us to feel uncomfortable, in pain or even that weird tingly sensation. The most at-risk place for your circulation no longer being optimal is when traveling in the air. The added pressure from the plan has a direct impact on our blood flow-and it is up to us to try to counterbalance that all. One option to consider is using cbd cream for circulation. Designed to help enhance your blood flow and relax your body at the same time, you will feel relaxed and calm after using this cream.

Another go-to when it comes to looking after your blood flow while traveling is to wear compression socks with benefits. These socks are not only stylish and will keep you warm during the flight, but they are designed to enhance your circulation in your feet and legs. As a result, you will feel more comfortable, have fewer pains and aches and even be able to help mitigate the inflammation that often occurs in all travelers who fly.

2. Look After Your Skin

When you are traveling, always have lots and lots of water with you. The stress of the day, the new environments and the change in pressure and air circulation can cause our bodies to become dehydrated. One of the first signs of this will be our skin drying up, making for an uncomfortable journey. That is why you want to bring hydrating face moisturizer with you on your trip so that you arrive at your destination with glowing and radiating skin that makes you feel great. There is a reason that most airlines give out hydrating lotion to those lucky first-class and business travelers. But even if you are sitting in economy, you can still bring your own that is made for your particular skin.

3. Relax Your Baby

Traveling with a baby can be super stressful, especially around the holiday season. There is nothing worse as a parent than trying to make your crying baby calm down while equally trying to apologize to all the other travelers onboard next to you. Luckily, there are sleep drops for babies that are free of melatonin and designed to safely and effectively help your baby sleep during the journey. This will allow you to relax and not be as stressed during the journey as well. And the passengers around you will be equally grateful too.

And similarly, if you are traveling with your pets, try giving them some cbd for pets before the journey. Traveling can be especially overwhelming for animals, so providing them with some extra relaxation can help them stay calm and be a good travel companion.

4. Snacks to Curb Your Hunger

Traveling this holiday season will likely take at least a few hours, even if you are not planning on going very far. So come prepared with plenty of high protein snacks that you can have in your tote bag ready to eat whenever you need. Our personal favorites for any trip are the peanut butter chocolate protein balls. But there is nothing worse than having a growling stomach halfway through the trip. So we suggest packing more snacks than you think you will actually need.

5. Wear Comfortable Clothes

While back in the day people used to wear their Sunday best to travel, it is all about premium comfort now. The best type of clothes to wear for any journey is workout shirts and leggings, as well as a sweatshirt in case you get cold. If you are traveling by plane, make sure to pack fuzzy socks too to keep your feet nice and toasty, as planes tend to get extra cold while up in the air. You will be wearing these clothes for at least half a day, if not longer. So pick the comfiest wardrobe pieces you own.

6. A Bag of Tech Stuff

While you will have a big checklist of items to travel with this holiday season, make sure to leave room for all your tech stuff so that you are entertained during the journey. This includes your noise cancelling headphones and iPad so you can stream your new favorite Netflix series that you have been dying to binge-watch. Traveling is the perfect excuse to veg out for a few hours and watch movies or television shows you would normally not have the time for. Don't forget to charge up all the tech stuff ahead of time as well, as there is nothing worse than your iPad going flat halfway through a trip.

7. A Comfortable Pillow

As cliché as it might be for travelers, a quality neck pillow can easily upgrade you from economy to business class comfort. These pillows really come in handy if you are catching a red-eye flight so that you can actually get some sleep without hurting your neck. The best neck pillows come with cooling material so that your body doesn't feel overheated during the journey as well. These are usually small and compact enough to take on a plan as your carry on item, but equally, come in handy for long car rides or train rides as well.

So as this holiday season ramps up to full force, we hope you are more excited than ever to get back traveling again. And while it may cause some stress and angst, we are here to remind you that your journey this holiday season can also be a relaxing and stress-free one. All you have to do is keep these tips in mind and make sure to pre-plan your comfort. From pillows to comfy travel clothes, the little details can make a big difference with how pleasant a trip is.
