Jennifer Lawrence appears in a new sexy and intense trailer in her upcoming movie, "Red Sparrow." The spy trailer recently released revealed some seductive moments and indicated that the flick is certainly going to be an offbeat one.

According to Variety, 20th Century Fox debuted the first look of Jennifer Lawrence in "Red Sparrow" at the recently held CinemaCon. The movie is a Cold War thriller, involving a high level of intense drama.

Jennifer Lawrence Plays Injured Ballerina And A Spy In Love

In the flick, the 26-year-old actress plays the role of a prima ballerina (Dominika Egorova), whose leg gets injured - putting her dancing career to halt. Later on, a secretive Russian spy agency recruits her where she meets CIA agent Joel Edgerton.

The two fall in love with each other and here begins the cat and mouse game of seduction between Jennifer Lawrence and her partner. According to the FOX film vice-chairman; you can never be sure whether the relationship is real and who is indeed taking it seriously.

According to Deadline, the movie is based on the novel by Jason Matthews and focuses on a Russian ballerina-turned-spy. Interestingly, Jennifer Lawrence who will be playing the ballerina will be acting as a seductress hired to seduce the CIA agent, Edgerton.

The American actress looks just the part in the recently released trailer, with every shot revealing an elegant Jennifer Lawrence. One shot in particular where she is walking up a long stairway in a backless dress generates special interest. The trailer also revealed some training sequences carried out in a remote mansion located in the snowy heart of Russia.

So, it would indeed be a treat for Jennifer Lawrence fans to see the actress seducing a secret agent on screen. More importantly, it is also going to be a challenge for her to look the part, both as a ballerina, as well as a Russian spy.
