'Hunter X Hunter' Chapter 361: Takeuchi May Takeover

The series went on a long hiatus in 2015 and returned only for a few episodes last year. Ever since then, there has been no definite and confirmed news about the release of the pending "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361. However, recent news indicates that the "Weekly Shonen Jump" may handover the creation of the upcoming chapter to Togashi's wife Naoko Takeuchi, reports Travelers Today.

Other unconfirmed sources also suggested that the showrunner might think of hiring new creative staff to complete the pending "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361 and other following episodes. However, still, there is no guarantee that the manga series will resume soon.

According to the source, new writers may not be able to match the quality and creativity of Togashi and hence, the showrunner is hesitating to contact new writers. However, the possibility of Takeuchi taking over for her husband is much more possible, as she already has creditable work, with "Sailor Moon" under her name.

Previous reports indicated that Shueisha may divert its attention to a new manga show and drop the idea of coming up with "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361. However, it seems that the Japanese creator does not have any such intentions, as the manga series continues to have a huge following despite such a long hiatus.
