In celebration of the second year of "The Division," Ubisoft announced what's next for the game's Year 2 content offerings. From Loadouts to feats and seasons, the Year 2 content of "The Division" will include a slew of new features that players will surely enjoy. Let's take a closer look at some features discussed by the studio in a recent livestream event.

Two New Expansions

According to VG247, "The Division" players can look forward to two new expansions as part of the Year 2 content for the game. Both expansions do not have their proper names just yet, but players should know that they will come for free for all platforms, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Players can anticipate the arrival of the first of the two new expansions this summer.

Loadouts

As part of "The Division" Year 2 content, the first of two new expansions will feature Loadouts, which is a tab with six slots. This new function will enable players to save an equipped loadout that can be switched and reequipped anytime. Players should also know that this new function will also feature skills and talents aside from gears and weapons.

Seasons And Feats

The first expansion in "The Division" Year 2 content will also feature Seasons, which are timed events that have several activities with a modifier. Players who engage in these Seasons will be able to receive rewards for participation and completion. Leaderboards will also be featured in Seasons. Meanwhile, there will also be Feats, which are just like deeds. However, Feats are special achievements that players can only unlock when they perform specific challenges such as kill challenges, or helping out other agents, or exploration challenges.

New Areas Included?

Meanwhile, Gamerant reported that "The Division" Year 2 content may also feature new areas. Some fans are eager to see Central Park featured as a new area in the game, so they're keeping their fingers crossed for that. To keep up with the latest on "The Division," make sure to bookmark this page.
