It seems like the divorce of Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton did not affect the "Vice" singer's career, as she remains to be successful. Pop Matters reported that she recently released a video for her new song called, "We Should Be Friends." Fans are now wondering if Lambert is interested in being friends with her ex-husband, Shelton.

However, the song is not made for Shelton, as Lambert sings to all the music listeners. The source shared that listeners gave their opinion about the song. Steve Horowitz said, "this song and video give one a warm feeling inside. Lambert’s friendliness extends to all: young, old, different races, the opposite sex, etc."

Another opinion has been shared, which came from Adriane Pontecorvo said, "there is something healthy about it, down-to-earth without having to try too hard, all-inclusive in its simplicity. No barriers were shattered here, but as pop-country goes, this is the kind of song that should show up more often."

Several listeners loved the song and it even made them think that the funkiness and groove of the song give the listeners a good vibe. The music video even showed Lambert sitting in a beauty salon, as she heads for a cold drink to clear her mind from worries.

Lambert continues to get nominations in different country music award ceremonies, however Shelton seemed to be snubbed. As per RollingStone, Shelton who hosted the  Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) event from 2011 to 2015, was snubbed for the second time in a row. "The Voice" coach apparently failed to score a single nomination in the ceremony.
