"John Wick: Chapter 2" is one of the highly-anticipated action thrillers this year after the great success of the first movie. Hyping up the anticipation, the movie just released a recent teaser poster hinting that fans can expect more or less the same with the first title.

The critically-acclaimed action thriller will be releasing its prequel after almost three years. "John Wick: Chapter Two" will reportedly the theaters this year, bringing John into a whole new level of modern action adventure. While the first movie wasn't initially taken right away, word of mouth quickly picked up the sales, Screen Rant reported. The first installment of the John Wick series used primitive yet modern fight sequences that saw Keanu Reeves in one of his best roles in recent times.

As such, "John Wick: Chapter 2" released a much more active promotional campaign and a recent teaser poster showed Keanu Reeves holding two silenced pistols, which form the roman numeral two. The poster continues the same simple theme, keeping it straightforward yet effective. Taking the position of the guns into consideration, the sequel may delve further into the lead character's back story. In fact, the executives expressed interest in exploring the character's deeper in a prequel TV show. Saying that the poster may be hinting of an inner demon that John needs to deal with.

Meanwhile, the movie also released behind-the-scene shots showing a reunion of "The Matrix," MovieWeb reported. "John Wick: Chapter Two" served as a reunion for Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne after playing Neo and Morpheus in the 1999 blockbuster film "The Matrix." Co-star Carrie-Ann Moss dropped in to show her support for her Matrix buddies during the world premiere of the film in Los Angeles. A photo was snapped and posted on Twitter showing the reunion of the three Matrix stars.
