This type of popcorn is made of whole-grain with  antioxidant-rich snack food that comes at a pretty low-calorie cost.  A three-cup serving of air-popped popcorn only contains 93 calories, one gram of fat, and four grams of fiber. For those who do not like feel guilty over eating snack, popcorn could be the best option.

In most movie theaters, popcorns are popped in coconut oil before adding salt and/or a "buttery topping." Unlike the plain one, these popcorns with added flavors are not healthy.

A medium bucket of popcorn holds 20 cups with 1,200 calories, 980 milligrams of sodium and 60 grams of saturated fat, according to health experts. The total number is already worth three days of consumption and half a day's worth of saturated fat, according to the Center for Science in the Public Interest

Nutritionists recommend that nutrition labels, serving sizes, and amount of sodium and sugar must be checked on pocorn packaging before purchase. If it cannot be helped, consumers can buy variants that baost of zero grams of sugar, such as Skinny Pop's original popcorn.
