Christina Grimmie's killer, Kevin James Loibl, shot the former "The Voice" contestant on June 10 during an Orlando meet-and-greet then turned the gun on himself. This unfortunate incident was all the YouTube star's fans know. A new photo emerged showing Christina Grimmie's killer inside the event before the shooting happened.

Orlando Police Department released the chilling photo on Inside Edition, where Christina Grimmie's killer will be seen standing at the back of the venue, watching the former "The Voice" star perform before fatally shooting her. Wearing a plaid shirt, black jeans a black baseball cap, Christina Grimmie's killer was spotted right away among the cheering fans in the concert.

Christina Grimmie was outside the Plaza Live theatre in Orlando after her amazing show with Before You Exit. Daily Mail reported that when Kevin James Loibl approached her, a Christina Grimmie fan recalled that the 22-year-old singer even greeted the deranged fan with arms wide open for a hug, unaware of his evil plan.

Orlando police have found no known connection between Christina Grimmie's killer and the "The Voice" season 6 finalist and believe that he was obsessed with the singer. Kevin James Loibl brought several weapons into the venue and had plans to flee back to his hometown of St. Lucie, Florida, after killing Christina Grimmie.

Christina Grimmie is not a stranger to Selena Gomez at all. The former "The Voice" star and Team Adam Levine contestant used to be an opening act for the "Same Old Love" singer's tours. The duo didn't end their friendship onstage and remained close offstage. Although Selena Gomez loves interacting with her fans, this is the scenario that she is trying to avoid and has been weighing the pros and cons of her future meet and greets.
