'Attack on Titan' unveils Teaser trailer for Second Season! A new titan enters the battle!

"Attack on Titan" recently announced a second season for the series. As a Christmas gift for their fans, Funimation unveiled the trailer for the upcoming season.

According to Polygon, Funimation released the trailer for the second season of Attack on Titan on Christmas Eve. This is great news for Attack on Titan fans since the announcement of the second season back in Summer. The trailer shows the familiar scenario of titans looming over the Wall that protects the people inside.

In the trailer, returning characters join the fray as they battle the Titans that attempt to cross over the Wall Rose, humanity's second line of defense. The Wall Rose is the second wall that protects the residents of the Chlorba, Karanese, and Trost Districts. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin can be seen in the trailer, fighting Titan after Titan. For fans of the series, they could easily spot a brand new Titan in the form of the "beast Titan." The Beast Titan is a furry titan, which appears to be having a resemblance to the primitive man, can be seen in the trailer, engaging in a fight against a member of the Survey Corps.

"Today marks the new darkest day in humanity's history," a message from the trailer. It implies that the upcoming season will be full of fighting and story development as humanity makes its stands against the race of Titans once again. Notable Titans such as the Armored and Colossal Titan make their return into the fight. The Survey Corps can also be seen engaging in a battle with these fearsome Titans. Even Eren Yaeger comes in his Titan form, battling the Armored Titan. Surely, fans of Attack on Titan are in a rollercoaster ride for the series' second season.
